What Test Servlets do
|
Test Servlets are programs for browser-based testing and assessment for K-12 Education and Occupational Training.
The servlets present fill-In, true/false, and multiple-choice questions while tracking students as they take tests (session tracking). The presentation may include graphic images and/or sound (on IE4.0 or better). Test Servlets measure and display results. Results can be saved, printed, or emailed for further review--a benefit to distance learners, teachers, testing and training organizations or human resource and market research firms.
Science Academy Software's servlet strategy complements existing and newer web-based instruction, overcomes most common technical barriers to platform independence (PC or Mac), and benefits from the growing customer support of ISPs offering Java web services. This servlet strategy provides numerous benefits that include security and scaleability.
Test Servlets run on Java Web Servers supporting the JavaTM Servlet Specification 2.2. Test Servlets are based on Learning Components©, the company's Java based paradigm for learning on the Web and the desktop for K-12.
