Testing and Assessment methodology get repackaged; Test Servlets Now sold separately.

BRONX, NY. November 22, 2004 Science Academy Software®, an educational software developer, has repackaged Test Servlets,the browser-based testing and assessment software, for mass markets. In a effort to gain wider product acceptance, Science Academy Software has made their Test Servlets available individually and collectively at a lower prices.

The company has modifed and also added of new servlets to their Test Servlets product line to accommodate customer testing, assessment, or survey needs. Users benefit by buying only the servlets they need whether they be for fill-in, multiple choice, or true and false testing.

Test Servlets present test questions individually or collectively, administer and score tests with the capability of supporting user-defined images and sound on IE4.0 or later. Test Servlets measure and display results. Results can be saved, printed, or emailed for further review--a benefit for learners, teachers, testing and training organizations, human resource organizations, distance and homeschool learners.

To use Test Servlets users simply place the servlets where they belong. Then simply add test folder containing a WebTest text formatted test. Add images, and sound (IE 4 or later) if desired for a multimedia test experience.. The same Test Servlet can be used repeatedly, for different users, for different tests. The software architecture supports multiple tests through page linking (redirection).

Test Servlets run on a variety of Java Web servers supporting the Java(TM) Servlet Specification 2.2 or later. The servlet strategy complements existing and newer web-based instruction and overcomes most common technical barriers to platform independence (PC or Mac). The servlet strategy provides numerous benefits including security and scaleability.
